As I prune the wisteria (and honeysuckle and Tara vines), I keep picturing the last attempt. Wisteria hysteria. Here are the crime scene photos. At least, I'm not pruning them down to their roots.
I know wisteria should be pruned after it blooms in the spring, but the arbor is deteriorating and I have to get it ready to replace all the uprights and cross-beams this summer. I also need to lessen the snow load this winter.
